Data Sources

DAELOC understands 3 data sources:

  • Serial
  • TCP/IP
  • MQTT

Serial

This is the classic data source and allows setting the serial port and baudrate.

You can use serial with Streamer and PLX-DAQ protocols.

TCP/IP

When using this data source, you can set up a listening socket on a specific IP address and port. You can use 0.0.0.0 to bind to each local IP address.

This source allows CSV and JSON data formats.

MQTT

This allows you to connect to an MQTT broker and allows you to subscribe to a topic for receiving data. It also allows sending back data to a publishing topic.
